Happy New Year friends! Welcome to our first newsletter - a quarterly update from Sing at Work. I hope you've had a lovely Christmas break with some opportunity to belt out some festive songs (in or out of tune!). This Autumn we've filled canteens, boardrooms and foyers with harmony, hosting 'Christmas Singalongs' at Google, Salesforce, HCL workforce solutions and The Trampery Republic, and tackling beginners nerves with our popular “You can sing!” workshops at Charles Tyrwhitt, WaterAid and World First. Thank you to everyone who took part and we look forward to seeing you again soon - plenty of opportunities to get singing in 2019"

The Princes Trust Community Choir Christmas concert: 11th December, Guards' Chapel, Westminster.

At their first ever concert, the Princes Trust Community Choir knocked the socks off guests and patrons with their cracking rendition of “All I want for Christmas is You” featuring and soloist Jaspreet Kandola. They were joined by The Choir of the Royal Military Chapel and readings from Prince’s Trust Ambassador Felicity Kendal CBE - a spectacular night to remember.

Farewell, Chris Bain! Director, CAFOD.

On 5 December, our long-established CAFOD choir performed at the stunning St George's Cathedral in a mass of thanksgiving, marking the retirement of Chris Bain after 15 years as the Director of CAFOD. Wishing Chris all the best as he and his family prepare to leave London.

January Blues? Our "Singing for Wellbeing Workshop" can help!

This winter we're launching a rejuvenating vocal workshop for mental and emotional wellbeing - this accessible workshop is the perfect opportunity to offer your team an uplifting boost, a reason to feel excited about the new year and a chance to connect (sober) with colleagues again.

Get away from your desk and explore how the breath, body and vocal chords can give you meaningful sense of wellbeing, discovering the power of your voice and the ecstasy of singing with others, whatever your age, ability or experience.

(We promise it works, just ask the psychiatrists:  https://www.classicfm.com/music-news/feeling-stressed-join-a-choir/)

Sing at Work at SEUK's Social Saturday

SEUK - Social Saturday

In October we took part in Social Enterprise UK’s pop up fair at the Trampery in Old Street.  We met traders offering some of best ethical products and services out there, businesses that work for a more equal society, creating jobs where they’re needed most and tackling some of the biggest challenges we face from homelessness to climate change.

Sing at Work at London Design Festival

London Design Festival - “Pop-Up Vocal session”

On 12th September Ellie and Lotte teamed up with sustainable furniture brand Venoor Living to deliver an uplifting vocal workshop to lunching city workers. At this pop up event hosted by London Design Festival, we sang some Fleetwood Mac, hugged each other and promptly skipped back to work!
